Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement and with the delivery of our service to you.

What information do we hold?

When bookings via our website or over the phone are made, personal details we hold for you are your name, postal address, email address, landline and/or mobile number.

This information enables us to respond to your queries, process payments, and provide excellent customer service with your specific choices made to make your stay with us perfect.  This information is not used other than by The Dovecote Barns to ensure we offer you the best service possible.

These details are kept on a database held at a third party supplier system called ‘Supercontrol’ who have a legal duty to secure and comply with all European Laws including GDPR for the security and safety of your data.

No payment card data is held on these systems.  If the online card payment option is used, the third party ‘Holiday Rent Payment’ company is responsible for the security of this data.  They must comply with all European and Worldwide Laws regarding the security of card data.

The Dovecote Barns, SuperControl and Holiday Rent Payment are all audited yearly for compliance of the PCI DSS Compliance (Payment Card Data Security Standard).

Only online card payments retain information for balance payments on bookings.

No mailings will be made to any email addresses unless you have given your direct consent post 25^th May 2018.
