Dine in with your own private chef or venture out either locally or further afield for an abundance of cuisine choice.
For groups of 10 or more, you have the option to hire a private chef to the barns. Alternatively, there is a ‘pop-up’ in the village called ‘The Shed’ which is subject to availability. Contact us.
Both the Castle Inn at Cawood and it’s sister pub The Drovers Arms at Skipwith are great pubs for some good beer and Sunday dinners or evening meals.
Burro Italian restaurant in Riccall which is a 3 minute drive is fantastic. Highly recommended.
As is the Rythre Arms Steak House at Ryther which is a 5 minute drive. If you like steak, this place is a must.
You have your own on-site licenced bar in ‘The Long Hall’ but there are some great pubs within walking distance for you to enjoy.
The Ferry Inn is a 16th century pub at the riverside in Cawood. It is at the end of a 25 min walk down the riverbank from the barns.
The Castle Inn at Cawood and Drovers Arms at Skipwith have great food.
The Pickled Postie at both Cawood and Riccall has freshly prepared food and basic groceries and craft beer and wine for sale.
We accept home delivery supermarket shopping prior to your arrival and there is also a welcome basket of groceries and wine/Prosecco on arrival.
At Riccall there is a Co-op supermarket and there are supermarkets at Selby and York.
You don’t need to venture out to have a wonderful meal! We have some great options for dining in and can arrange professionally cooked food to be delivered straight to your table.
