The Long Hall is the perfect exclusive use venue for all kinds of intimate celebrations – small weddings, special milestone birthdays, anniversaries, vow renewals or any group celebration.
Exclusive Group Stay with Private Dining (up to 22 Guests)
Exclusive use bookings include the 11 ensuite bedrooms and Long Hall which is setup for group fine group dining catering for up to 22 guests. Optional tailor-made mouth watering cuisine can be customised to your preferences to offer a first class catering service.
Larger Events & Intimate Weddings (up to 56 Guests)
For larger event celebrations with additional day guests there is a 56 guest capacity and we offer a fully staffed licensed bar. We offer a tiered events package based on the additional guests visiting to the 22 guests staying in the exclusive use accommodation.

The Long Hall
A large multi functional heated space with bar and 2 toilets (one fully accessible) which is used for private group dining and activities for groups.
Included with ‘exclusive use stay bookings’ (up to 22 guests).
A staffed licensed bar is available as part of our events package for ‘larger events & intimate wedding receptions’ (up to 56 guests).
Licenced Bar (Larger Events)
For larger event celebrations at the Long Hall (56 guests) there is a fully staffed licenced bar with draught ale and lager and a range of spirits, wines, Prosecco etc

Private Dining & Small Weddings
For your special celebration, enjoy a Michelin-star trained private chef experience with bespoke menus designed by our local partners The Shed Kelfield.
Please contact ‘The Shed‘ private catering service directly to discuss availability and prices. They will create a tailor made menu on request.
Conditions of Rental
For parties or celebrations, all four accommodation barns must be rented as ‘exclusive use’ and the Long Hall and Sack Store are included in the rental on a self-catering basis for up to 22 guests.
For larger events of 26-56 guests, there is a staffed licenced bar in the Long Hall. When this is booked, you are liable for purchase of wine/Prosecco/spirits etc from the bar during the event. Otherwise access to the bar itself is prohibited during normal self-catering rental.
For larger events of more than 22 guests, we have an events package (based on numbers) which we can share with you. Please contact us.
Group Size in the Long Hall
The use of the Long Hall is for private guests only and the whole site must be rented to avoid disturbance to other guests on-site.
Whilst staying at the barns, all 22 guests can come together to dine together around one table and the Grand Barn is fully equipped to cater for a group of 22 guests.
Large wedding events can have 56 guests to dine and the bar is fully stocked and staffed (contact us).
Intimate Wedding Celebrations
For that extra special occasion, the Long Hall provides the perfect setting for your celebration with friends or family.
For intimate wedding events, event rental allows up to 56 guests to dine together with catering and licenced bar. This allows additional day guests to those 22 staying on-site. Tables, chairs, fairy and festoon lights and all the trappings are provided in the rental.
The licenced bar is only in operation for these exclusive wedding events. Please contact us for a copy of our event package options for inviting additional guests to your celebration.
Catering and Private Fine Dining
You can experience the mouth watering fine dining provided by our local suppliers. They can offer a full catering service for breakfast, lunch and evening meals operating out of the Grand Barn kitchen and serving up in the adjoining Long Hall.
We provide you with all the information on booking and you can discuss a bespoke menu with the supplier directly. The team work out of the Dovecote Barns fully equipped kitchen and provide a waitering and clearing service giving you a five-star restaurant fine dining experience.
For exclusive use groups, The Long Hall is included to allow all 22 staying on-site to dine around one table and socialise together.
Corporate Off-site Meetings/Retreats
The Long Hall is a perfect flexible venue for corporate off-site meetings or team building retreats with additional break out areas available in the adjoining Grand Barn.
Full catering services can be offered or you can self-cater using the extensive group catering facility on-site.

With a total of 11 ensuite bedrooms, six of which can be converted to twin rooms, the Dovecote Barns offers flexibility to have both mid-week team building or executive off-site retreats.
After productive sessions, groups can enjoy team-building activities in the Games Room or relax in the peaceful Yorkshire countryside.
