The Long Hall is the perfect exclusive use venue for all kinds of intimate celebrations – small weddings, special milestone birthdays, anniversaries or any group celebration.
Tailor-made mouth watering cuisine can be customised to your preferences by our michelin star trained private chef and catering team.
Exclusive use bookings include the 11 ensuite bedrooms and Long Hall which is setup for group dining catering for up to 22 guests or for larger celebrations with additional day guests there is a 56 guest capacity.
For larger exclusive use celebrations such as an intimate wedding celebration, we offer a licenced bar.
We offer a personal tailor-made experience for couples to ensure their day is unique and memorable to them.

The Space
A large multi functional heated space with bar and 2 toilets (one fully accessible).
Separately rented when all barns are rented as a group booking.
Additional tables and chairs and crockery, cutlery and glasses available.
Licenced Bar (Wedding Venue)
For larger event celebrations at the Long Hall (56 guests) there is a staffed full licenced bar with draught ale and lager and a range of spirits, wine and Prosecco etc
This is by prior arrangement and conditions apply.
Food & Drink
A full catering service can be provided for you in the Long Hall. The private chef uses the kitchen in the Grand Barn for larger groups.

Rules & Etiquette
For parties or celebrations, all four barns must be rented as exclusive use and the Long Hall and Sack Store are included in the rental on a self-catering basis.
On request, there is a staffed licenced bar in the Long Hall if required. When this is booked, you are liable either for corkage or purchase of wine/Prosecco/spirits etc from the bar. Otherwise access to the bar itself is prohibited during normal self-catering rental.
Group Size
The use of the Long Hall is for private guests only and the whole site must be rented to avoid disturbance to other guests on-site.
Whilst staying at the barns, all 22 guests can come together to dine together around one table and the Grand Barn is fully equipped to cater for a group of 22 guests.
Large wedding events can have 56 guests to dine and the bar is fully stocked and staffed (contact us).
Intimate Wedding Celebrations
For that extra special occasion, the Long Hall provides the perfect setting for your celebration with friends or family.
For small wedding events, event rental allows up to 56 guests to dine together with catering and licenced bar. This allows additional guests to those 22 staying on-site. Tables, chairs and all the trappings are provided in the rental.
The licenced bar is only in operation for these exclusive wedding events. Under normal group rental, the bar itself is closed. The room and toilets are rented on a self-catering basis.
Catering and Private Fine Dining
We have our own Kelfield village-based family catering business with head chef Max having been Michelin Star trained.
They provide a huge range of services including catering for our wedding events, private fine dining evenings, retreats, cooked breakfasts, lunches or sharing dishes.
We provide you with all the information on booking and you can discuss a bespoke menu with the supplier directly. The team work out of the Dovecote Barns fully equipped kitchens and provide a waitering and clearing service giving you a five-star restaurant fine dining experience.
Alternatively, you can pop down the village to their pop-up cosy restaurant if your group number is 8-16 guests.
Alternatively, if you want to self-cater, we can provide you with locally prepared freshly made ready meals placed in your fridge for arrival, each serving 4 servings. We can help you with sourcing BBQ packs and sharing platters for also.
For exclusive use groups, The Long Hall is included to allow all 22 staying on-site to dine around one table and socialise together.
Corporate Off-site Meetings
The Long Hall is a perfect venue for corporate off-site meetings. Tables and chairs can be arranged for meetings and catering facilitated if required. Superfast wifi and accessible toilets.
With a total of 11 ensuite bedrooms, flexibility to have an off-site Monday to Friday mid-week stay is possible.
