You are now on a very straight road, at the top of this straight you turn right towards Kelfield. As you reach the village (about 2/3rds of a mile) there is a sign for the Dovecote Barns set back against some trees on the left-hand side. Once into the village you take the first left and you have arrived.
From the south, the east and the north-east (M18, M62, A64)
Make your way toward the A19 York – Selby road. If travelling from Selby towards York exit the A19 to the left at Riccall. At the traffic lights in Riccall turn left and follow this road to Kelfield. In Kelfield you come to a ‘T’ junction. Turn left here. The road bends around to the right. Keep driving through the village for about a quarter of a mile. As you come round a bend to the left with a high hedge on the left side look to the right and you will see a sign for the Barns on the right. Take this drive and you have arrived.
** If travelling from York leave the A19 just passed Escrick as the road rises and splits turn right towards Stillingfleet and Cawood. Keep on this road for about 4 miles until it turns right onto the straight road to Cawood (ignore the first sign after 2 miles indicating Kelfield 2 to the left). On this bend there is a junction for Kelfield (1 mile). The Dovecote Barns are on the left just as you enter the village. Look out for the sign set back against the trees on the left as you rise up into the village. Enter the village itself and take the first left driveway where there is a house on the corner of the drive (ie. not the Manor Farm farm track)
From the north and north –west (A1M)
