The Grand Barn sleeps 8 with an option for 10 with the ‘Sack Store’ annex king en-suite.  The Sack Store and Long Hall can be added as additional rental options during the booking process.

Please note that children under the age of 8 years are not permitted in the Grand Barn.

It has a large oak framed living area with snug and mezzanine lounges, a huge kitchen for group food preparation and 4 en-suite super-king bedrooms with super comfortable beds (two of which can be split into twins).

It is equipped with fine dining provisions according to whether it is rented individually (ie Sleeps 8-10) or as a large group for dining in ‘The Long Hall’ (ie seating 20-22 guests and is an additional rental option when renting the whole site (ie all 4 barns).

A perfect place for friends getting together.

Barn Location

The Grand Barn adjoins the Long Hall, and is immediately on your right as you enter the Dovecote Barns.

Kitchen

The large kitchen has been designed for those wanting to cater for large groups when multiple barns are rented together.

It includes 3 ovens, 2 dishwashers, wine fridge, warming drawer and microwave with a large island and chopping block and even a set of chef knives!

Living Area - The Snug

The snug is perfect for whiskey and debate with comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing by the log burner.

Living Area - The Mezz

The relaxing mezzanine lounge has comfort in mind, soft leather sofas and a 55″ Smart TV make for perfect movie nights in.

Dining

The dining space is located in the grand hall. The large oak table can be extended to seat 10 together for breakfast or a fine dining supper.

A private chef can be hired to cook up a fine dining menu in the Grand Barn.

Bed 1 - Super King or Twin

The ‘Blue’ room has a zip linked super-king bed which can be split into twin beds.  It has an ensuite including a shower wet room.

Bed 2 - Super King

The ‘Plum’ room has a super-king bed.  It has an ensuite including a separate bathtub and shower cubicle.

Bed 3 - Super King

Accessed from french doors off the kitchen at the rear of the Grand Barn is a patio with dining furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.  An adjoining grassed area the perfect place to lay out and do some sun bathing.

The Sack Store provides accommodation for an extra 2 people and can be booked alongside The Grand Barn to increase your group size to a total of 10 adults.

The Sack Store has it’s own private entrance, parking, shower/WC and adjoins the Grand Barn.  It can be accessed via the back stairs in the picture above, or via the Grand Barn bedroom corridor.
